Dr. P. K. GRANT is Chief Cardiologist & Chairman of Cardiovascular services & Managing Trustee at Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune.The Ruby Hall Cardiac Centre was established 30 years ago, which is a 700-bed Multi-speciality Hospital,started by his father late Dr. K.B. Grant and today it is one of the pioneer Cardiac Institutions in india. The Institution has done over 1,00,000 Angiographies, 50,000 Angioplasties and 50,000 Open Heart surgeries including coronary bypass surgeries. Ruby Hall Cardiac Centre does more coronary interventional procedures like angioplasty & stenting than any other institution in India,an achievement which Pune City is proud of.
Over 45 International Cardiology meetings have been held at Ruby Hall Clinic organized by Dr. P. K. GRANT, Dr.Grant organized two-world congress meets in Mumbai. Thirty-four angioplasties were done in Pune and live to around 3000 cardiologists in Mumbai.On the 14th of January, 2005, Dr. Grant performed Angioplasties in Pune and then beamed them live to Singapore in the World Conference of Cardiology. He has conducted workshops recently from pune to London, Paris, Saigon, Delhi and Ahmedabad. Dr Grant has also started a number of new project and has set up fully equipped Diagnostic Centres with MRI & CT Scan in Karad, Satara, Ahemadnagar and 20 other cities in Maharashtra and Karnataka. Dr Grant has set up the Amby Valley Medical project at Lonavala. He has 120 international publications to his name. He has been nominated by the National Board of Examinations, India as Chief Examiner in  Post Graduate Interventional Cardiology.
In May, 2007, Dr. PK.Grant had been awarded the FSCAl award by USA (Fellow society Cardiovascular Angiography and intervention). In Sept, 2008, Dr. Grant was conferred upon with the prestigious Fellowship of the American College of Cardiology(FACC). He is an Honorary Fellow of cardiological Society of India and Asia Pacific Society of Interventional Cardiology.
Ruby Hall clinic has helped several poor patients for cardiac surgery. In fact, in last two years more than 400 Open Heart surgeries have been performed practically free of cost. Despite his hectic schedule Dr. P K. Grant has done over 8000 Free out Patient clinics in cities outside Pune like Solapur, Ahmednagar, Baramati, Manchar, Karad Satara & Kolhapur etc. He examines patients free of cost every thursday in these cities. All investigations are done at an extremely concessional rate.Dr.P K.Grant has been awarded two National awards, one is the Rashtriya samman award and the other is the Manibhai Desai Rashtraseva award for his charitable works done over a period of 20 years. He recently was awarded the Lions Yuva Seva Ratna Award by the Lions Clubs International, District 323-D2. He was elected the Chairman of the Medical Committee for Common Wealth Youth Games 2008, organized at Pune. In 2016, he was given the prestigious S.L. Kirloskar Award.
